Episode 35 – Rockabilly Raven Vintage

Raven Haraldson had an issue. She was out of work, and with no chance of finding work in her town, she packed up her car, sold off her wardrobe and headed east.

Little did she know at the time that selling off her wardrobe would be the foundation behind her successful vintage clothing business. Now she’s on line everywhere, and with us in the Shed to talk about how she got to where she is, and why the appeal of vintage clothing is so strong.

Episode 33 – Columbus Buckeyes Vintage Baseball

Paul “The Magician” Cunningham loves baseball history. He formed the Columbus Buckeyes, a team of baseball players who re-enact Civil War era ball. It takes a special love of the sport to dress in wool in summer, catch fly balls bare handed, and make your own bats out of wood.

Episode 31 – Artist Linda Apple

We often talk, and reminisce about the Short North before it became what it was today.  Linda Apple was instrumental in making that section of town the thriving art scene everyone remembers and loves. She’s studied and produced art all over the world. She, and her son John join us for some Crown Royal, and talk her amazing history.  This show goes a little long, because she had just so much great things to say.

Episode 27 – The Commissary with Kate Djupe

Kate Djupe started the commissary to scratch an itch.  She stopped by to talk to us about her history with food, the role the commissary plays in the community, and what’s next.  Editor’s note: Since this episode was recorded, Kate has since left the commissary, handing the keys over to another organization, however Robert and I felt that the story is still good enough to tell.
